You need to make sure that you download, install, and then
Optimize your Internet with ActiveSpeed before you will see a
speed increase. Signing up for the service gets you started, but setting
up the software is essential to getting your speed increase.
There are three Optimization Modes to choose from. We suggest starting
with the Intelligent Mode as it takes the guess work out of
Optimizing your system.
When you click on the red 'X' in the top right corner of the ActiveSpeed
window, the window will disappear from your screen, but ActiveSpeed will
still be running. This helps you eliminate extra windows and let you
concentrate on your work.
You will know that ActiveSpeed is running when you see the ActiveSpeed
icon in your System Tray.
By using the Options Tab, you can even set ActiveSpeed to
automatically sign in and stay minimized to your System Tray.
